European Voluntary Service (EVS)
EVS gives unique chance to young people to learn more about different cultures and countries. You also work with people from different countries through the project that you take part. There are many interesting project topics such as art and culture, anti-discrimination, civil protection, environment, heritage protection and other numerous project subjects. To see hosting organisations and their project contents country by country, please click on this link: The European database on EVS accredited Organisations. All costs that the volunteer makes during the project are paid by the European Commission funds. Needs like accommodation, food or money for buying your own food, round trip tickets, pocket money, a very comprehensive insurance etc. are all provided. And of course don’t forget new friends, fun and many other precious experiences that will lead you throughout the rest of your life…
If you want to get information about the program I studied (Master in Entrepreneurship and Innovation), please visit this page. The University and the Chamber of Commerce have a partnership in this programme. For those who want to advance in entrepreneurship and innovation domains, I strongly recommend this program because of its curriculum, top-class professors from all around the world and the facilities they provide to their students.
The University of Luxembourg was founded in 2003. It is the first and only university of Luxembourg and gives special attention to research. Its academic staff come from all around the world. I think it has very interesting Bachelor’s and Master’s programs. Because it is the only university of Luxembourg, the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg shows its fully devoted support to the university. By the way, it is one of the few universities in the world to be multilingual and has very close links to EU institutions, the financial centre and the Luxembourg job market.
